ACTS Consortium Selected to Lead Green and Digital Innovation Hub in Kenya

The GIZ Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) in Nairobi has selected the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) to lead the Green and Digital Innovation Hub (gDIH) initiative in Kenya, emphasising digital transformation and sustainability. In partnership with GFA, the DTC will implement the Strengthening Kenyan Intermediaries and Innovation Ecosystem (SKIIVE) project, focused on supporting MSMEs, enhancing skills development, and improving access to finance. The goal is to bolster Kenya’s digital economy and innovation ecosystem by 2024. 

The ACTS Consortium, collaborating closely with the SKIIVE project team, will embark on a transformative journey, including a study trip to Europe and the development of a comprehensive business plan, to advance sustainable technological innovation.
