
Women Enterprise Fund
The mandates of the Fund as outlined in the above gazette Notice are:
Provide subsidized credit to Kenyan women entrepreneurs for enterprise development.
Capacity building of women entrepreneurs and their organizations.
Attract and facilitate investment in micro, small and medium enterprises oriented infrastructure such as business markets or business incubators that will be beneficial to women enterprises.
Support women oriented micro, small and medium enterprises to develop linkages with large enterprises.
Facilitate marketing of products and services of women enterprises in both domestic and international markets
Tuinuke Loan (Group loan)
Ksh. 50,000 to Ksh. 750,000
- A member must be a Kenyan Citizen of 18 years and above.
Must hold a valid ID document (National ID / Passport). - Must have a registered sim card which should have been in operation for at least 6 months and 3 months active on M-PESA.
- All members must be of the female gender.
The borrower must be a member of a group. - The group will have a minimum of 10 members with a maximum of 30 Members.
- The group will have a guarantor system (this will be catered for by ensuring the approval process is adhered to). All members will be responsible for group loan.
- Members must pay their default loan on the hustler products i.e., Personal Loan or Biashara Loan
Group Must have identified the three officials in line with their registration certificate before setting up the account
Capacity building
150 to 200% of initial loan up to a maximumof Kshs 500,000.
Offers training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy and skills development
Market access Programs
Facilitates access to local, regional and international markets through exhibitions and trade fairs.
